• Hand-wash or machine-wash in cold water.
• Wash with dark clothes, avoid washing with light-colored clothes.
• To keep the fabric without creases, iron it while it is still slightly damp.
• To preserve natural texture of the fabric, let it dry flat vertically
• We recommend air dry in shade. Please avoid direct sunlight.
• The hues of hand-dyed indigo can slightly differ, influenced by the indigo plant, soil and weather of the area. We appreciate these subtleties of nature and sincerely hope that you do too !
• Hemp is a highly absorbent fabric. It is stronger and more durable than cotton & linen but still soft and suitable for sensitive skin.
• Hemp is medium weight, on the thick side to the touch. If you are used to soft napkins, these will suit you better as placemats.
• Hemp holds its shape well. After multiple washings, its thread becomes even tighter, not stretched yet softer. It is also mold-free & resistant to termites.
